| Day 1 | Depart London. |
| Day 2 | Arrive Beijing, transfer to Central Hotel with swimming pool - Guangzhou Hotel is a four star modern hotel west of Tiananmen Square and close to the Xidan shopping and commercial area. Remainder of the day free. |
| Day 3 | Escorted full day visit to Great Wall at Mutianyu with lunch and return via the Valley of the Ming Tombs. BL |
| Day 4 | Full day escorted visit in Beijing to the Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven and Lama Temple with Lunch included. BL |
| Day 5 | Morning visit to Forbidden City and Beihai Park. Afternoon and evening free. B |
| Day 6 | Morning transfer for flight to Lanzhou, on arrival visit Five Springs Hills, White Pagoda, City Museum. Transfrer to Jinjiang Sun Hotel. B |
| Day 7 | Departure by road for Labrang, en route take boat to Binling Buddhist Grottoes. Continue to Labrang Tibetan Monastery – 300kms, lunch en route, sometimes the road is under repair and progress is slow, but the scenery is impressive. The Labrang Guesthouse consists of individual ‘yurts’ (as they appear from the exterior) with a typical hotel bedroom with bathroom ensuite layout inside. BL |
| Day 8 | Full day visiting Labrang and the surrounding area. BL |
| Day 9 | Return by road to Lanzhou Airport and connect with late flight to Xian and on arrival (late) transfer to hotel – Xian Shangrila or similar. BL |
| Day 10 | Morning free in Xian, afternoon visit to Drum & Bell Tower, City Wall and the Great Wild Goose Pagoda. B |
| Day 11 | Full day visit to Terracotta Army and Provincial Museum. BL |
| Day 12 | After breakfast depart by air for Kunming and take connecting flight to Dali. Stay at Asia Star Hotel. B |
| Day 13 | Full day accompanied sightseeing in Dali with boat trip on Erhai Lake and tea ceremony. Lunch included today. Also visit the Three iconic pagodas and ancient houses of Xizhou. |
| Day 14 | Morning departure by road for Lijiang. Stay at the Grand Hotel in the old city. Rest of day free. |
| Day 15 | Drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge and First Bend in the Yangtze river. BL. Night is spent in the ‘Halfway Hotel’ (hostel style accommodation) |
| Day 16 | Trekking in countryside and the Walnut Tree Garden. Evening Return to Lijiang. BL |
| Day 17 | Return to Old Lijiang, visit White Murals and Jade Dragon Mountain. BL |
| Day 18 | Morning transfer to airport for flight to Kunming and take connecting flight to Guilin, on arrival transfer to Royal Garden Hotel or similar. B |
| Day 19 | Full day tour including lunch on Li River. Afternoon explore Yangshuo and return to Guilin in the evening. BL |
| Day 20 | In Guilin visit the Reed Flute Cave and Fubo Mountain with lunch. Evening flight to Shanghai. Stay at Salvo Hotel or similar BL |
| Day 21 | Full day sightseeing in Shanghai visiting the Yuyuan Gardens, Old Town, Shanghai Museum, the Bund and the thriving new area of Pudong. BL |
| Day 22 | Depart for Suzhou by train after breakfast. Visit the Garden of the Master of the Nets, the Lingering Garden, take a boat ride on the Grand Canal and visit the Embroidery Institute. In the evening enjoy a recital of classical Chinese music in one of the gardens (subject to availability) BL |
| Day 23 | Return to Shanghai by train and transfer to your hotel, remainder of the day free for shopping, additional visits etc with services of local guide. |
