Points of entry

Many international airlines fly into Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, the itinerary can begin on almost any day of the week and at any of these entry points. Itineraries may run from north to south or vice versa or begin and end in the same city.

Duration

To derive maximum benefit from the distance travelled, the ideal duration is between 15-22 days, particularly for a tour, which encompasses several cities.

Itineraries, which included a trekking or overland element, visiting wildlife sanctuaries, or travelling to the Gobi Desert in North West China may need to be extended.
